SHASTA RETREAT DINING

Wendy Wernick Owner & Executive Chef at MOUNTAIN TROPICAL BLISS

Meet Wendy... Our Personal Chef!

Guest often share that they can taste the LOVE poured into my cooking. I am naturally attracted to farmers (pictures of local shasta farmers included) whose produce is grown with love and you can taste their passion in their delicious fruits and vegetables. Everything I prepare is made from scratch, all baked goods, soups, even salad dressings. I use farm fresh eggs from happy chickens and everything is freshly prepared based off what the land is producing.

Our body requires high quality, high vibrational foods to nurture, replenish and sustain itself. I relate to every living thing on this Earth as a sentient being. I source foods from local organic farms. These wonderfulgrowers are conscientious stewards of our precious Earth and bring forth a bounty of nutritious foods that we are all happy to share and enjoy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION... Food Intake while in the Energy Field of Mt. Shasta:

Years of preparing food for guests visiting shasta, along with my personal experience living permanently in this high vibration has given me great insight into which foods align best for visitors. People need at least 24-hours to acclimate to the frequency in Mt. Shasta, as it greatly affects all of your senses. Meal selection is specifically crafted to support guests as they integrate more of this profound energy each day.

The first few days people generally eat bountifully, and can feel hungry all the time. Meals provided the first few days tend to be heavier, to satiate their needs. Days following, appetites lessen, and their tastes are for lighter offerings. Guests are being fedfrom the energy field more than physical food.

FOOD PREFERENCES Most guests prefer gluten free baking and meals. I accommodate specific requests for luten and dairy free, and cook vegan. Beyond that I will do my best for a specific request, keeping in mind limitations on making individual dishes for a guest. I ask that specific restrictions be specified upon registration of this event.
